UTFpad ("the App") is a free tool for finding, composing, and decoding Unicode characters. By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
The App runs entirely in your web browser. You may use it for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, free of charge. You are responsible for how you use the characters and text you produce with it.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to create, distribute, or facilitate content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others, and not to attempt to disrupt, abuse, or reverse-engineer the App in ways that harm other users or the service.
3. "As is" — no warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Character data may contain errors or omissions, and features may change or be removed at any time.
4. Intellectual property
The Unicode® Standard and the underlying character data are the property of Unicode, Inc., and are used here for reference. Individual Unicode characters are not owned by anyone and are free for you to use. The App's own code and design remain the property of their author.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author of the App shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
6. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
